TheBata Groupis one of the world's leading manufacturers and retailers of quality footwear.A global company with more than 30,000 employees, over 5,000 stores in more than 70 countries worldwide, Bata has been providing the best shoes at the best value for money, backed by unparalleled service, for more than 120 years.Since its founding in **** by Thomas Bata, the Company has consistently demonstrated its commitment to responsible and innovative business models in the belief that capital is not just money, but, above all, people, knowledge and core values.Today, Bata's pioneering principles enable the company to adapt quickly to market changes.It also continues Bata's long tradition of being sensitive to cultural and national differences and enables it to function proudly as an inclusive company in every country in which it operates.DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLEFor our Financial Shared Services office in Limena (PD), we are looking for aGeneral Accounting Assistant, who will report to Record to Report Lead.The candidate will mainly participate in the administration of the Swiss corporate entities (Payables, Invoicing, General Accounting and administration) and other European entities and will also provide support to the rest of the team on a variety of topics.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the daily processing of supplier invoices for 4 companies, mainly SwitzerlandAssist in the Accounts Payables, travel expenses & petty cash processesPrepare payment proposals to suppliersOffer administrative support to the Swiss operationsPrepare ad hoc monthly end reportingIntercompany and customer chargesAssist in the intercompany reconciliationsProvide invoices to customer (Intercompany and third parties)Manage cash collection from customersManage accounting of Swiss withholding taxes for intercompany servicesREQUIREMENTSBachelor or similar degree (major in finance, business administration or accounting)2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a dynamic and international environmentExcellent accounting knowledge / Microsoft / MSDStructured, with ability to effectively handle a variety of tasks and problem solverTeam worker, reliable, proactive and flexibleLANGUAGESFluent in English (spoken and written)Proficiency in other languages is a plusLOCATIONLimena, Italy (PD)Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training periodSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustries: Retail Apparel and FashionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bata Group by 2x#J-*****-Ljbffr
