Clinical Specialist Manager, AWS Healthcare AIJob ID: ******* | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon's unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations.We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers' businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges.We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon's real-world experience to build opinionated, turnkey solutions.Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to use.The AWS Healthcare AI delivers agentic applications purpose-built for healthcare customers including providers, ISVs (e.g. EHRs), and payers.Today we deliver HealthLake (healthcare data storage, transaction, and analytics service) and HealthScribe (Generative AI service to convert patient–clinician conversation to clinical documentation) while building new agentic applications to streamline and power administrative workloads.Our mission is to provide a delightful experience to Amazon's customers by pushing the envelope in agentic reasoning and accuracy for healthcare services.If you want your work to have a positive impact on the lives of millions of people and you're up for a challenge, let's talkAs a Clinical Specialist Manager, you will play a critical role in determining what our AI applications focus on to help meet the needs of our Healthcare and Life Sciences customers.You will create the guidelines, educate annotation and science teams on the guidelines, and help resolve clinical questions while leading a team of clinical consultants.You will counsel and mentor medical annotators, author and maintain standard policies and procedures for the clinical informatics team, and work closely with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and subject domain experts to drive product strategy and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain clinical annotation guidelines and quality processes.Educate annotation, science, and engineering teams on guidelines and resolve complex clinical questions.Lead a team of clinical consultants and medical annotators, providing mentorship and guidance.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary partners to identify and evaluate clinical content, technology, and solutions that address customer problems.Develop and implement QA processes to ensure deliverables meet data collection requirements and delivery criteria.Serve as a subject-matter expert in Clinical Informatics, mitigating risks with sound, data-driven proposals.Basic Qualifications3+ years of technical product or program management experience.3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of working directly with engineering teams.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
