Location: Firenze, ItalyIn fast changing markets, customers worldwide rely on Thales.Thales is a business where brilliant people from all over the world come together to share ideas and inspire each other.In aerospace, transportation, defence, security and space, our architects design innovative solutions that make our tomorrow's possible.Sesto Fiorentino is the Headquarter of Thales Italia.It hosts two Domains: Ground Transportation Systems (GTS) and Security (SIX).The activity of GTS domain: Security systems, telecommunications, supervision, control & management information and signalling solutions for trains, trams and metros Regarding railway solutions, Thales is the homologated supplier of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana for Axel Counters, Tunnel Security, Energy Saving, SCADA systems and Asset Management.Italy is Thales Group's competence centre for tramway signalling solutions.The activity of SIX domain: mission critical solutions and applications for assets and citizens security (supervision, control and information management systems) as well as cybersecurity.Thales offers solutions to protect the information systems and critical data of its civilian and military customers and helps its customers to detect and prevent cyberattacks by devising secure architectures from the design stage, overseeing these architectures and ensures that they are kept in secure working order.Italy is Thales Group's competence centre for Airport security and operations management solutions.Facility & Administrative Support has as its primary aim to guarantee constant support to the Site Facility Manager by contributing to the correct functioning of all the facilities necessary for the building to operate effectively, as well as ensuring other local support services for the employees.Facility and Administrative Support will carry out this function by using and monitoring activities through specific applications and tools, as well as with his/her direct engagement on site facilities and for specific administrative activities outside the site, when necessary .He will also support other Operations functions (HSE, IS/IT, PMO) on administrative tasks specific to the functions, when necessary.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Facility & Administrative support function is operated directly from the Sesto Fiorentino site and includes some remotely accessible activities provided also to support other Thales Italia and Thales DIS sites.The Facility & Administrative support function reports directly to the Thales Italia Country Real Estate & Facility Manager and is responsible for the following:• Management of the car fleet (benefit, service, pool), with all relevant activities (management of contracts and relationship with leasing company, monitoring of documentation and mechanical status and checks; physical and administrative management of fuel cards, tolls, fines, and parking fees, monitoring mileage, budget control, assignment of pooled cars, ...• Collect and sort paper mail and manage small express courier shipments for the site.• Provide ongoing daily support to the Sesto Fiorentino Site Facility Manager.• Provide support for the Sesto Fiorentino site with any crises involving the FM team.• Prepare employee badges (to support the HR function).• Manage part of the administrative activities related to the PMO backoffice activities, HSE and IS/IT when requiredSKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSFacility & Administrative Support must have a strong aptitude for collaborating with various company functions and must be available to travel as needed.He/She must have a valid driving license (at least Category B).He/She should have basic English communication skillsAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.With Thales employing 80,000 employees in 68 countries our mobility policy enables thousands of employees each year to develop their careers at home and abroad, in their existing areas of expertise or by branching out into new fields.Together we believe that embracing flexibility is a smarter way of working.Great journeys start here, apply now
