EUR **************** giorni faJob posted 5 days agoRINA is recruiting for a R&D Consultant - Water Nexus & EU Funding to join its office in Genova or Milano, Italy within the Global Innovation Division.MissionAs a Senior Engineering Consultant specializing in R&D opportunities, your primary responsibility is to conduct thorough scouting of potential research and development projects that are eligible for International and European financing.This involves staying abreast of the latest advancements in engineering and technology, understanding European funding programs, and identifying strategic opportunities for the organization.Key AccountabilitiesScouting and AnalysisConduct in-depth research to identify International and European financed R&D opportunities in the engineering domain.Analyze project requirements, eligibility criteria, and funding structures to determine the feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.Proposal DevelopmentCollaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive and competitive project proposals for submission to European funding agencies.Ensure that proposals meet all technical, financial, and regulatory requirements.Identify and establish relationships with potential partners, including research institutions, industry players, and other stakeholders.Collaborate with partners to form project consortia that bring together complementary expertise for successful project execution.Project ManagementOversee the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of financed R&D projects.Coordinate project teams, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.Stakeholder EngagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including European funding agencies, research institutions, and industry partners.Act as a liaison between the organization and external collaborators.Compliance and ReportingEnsure compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations associated with International or European-funded projects.Support R&D Financial Manager to prepare and submit regular progress reports to funding agencies and internal management.Identify potential risks and challenges associated with R&D projects and implement effective mitigation strategies.Monitor project budgets and timelines to proactively address any deviations.QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in R&D, innovation management, or a related field, with a proven track record of identifying and securing international and European-funded R&D opportunities.Extensive experience in developing comprehensive project proposals for submission to European funding agencies, including Horizon Europe, national research programs, and similar international programs.Proven experience in managing and coordinating complex R&D projects, including overseeing all phases from initiation to closure.Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop competitive proposals and consortiums.Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with research institutions, industry players, and European funding agencies.Familiarity with the regulatory, financial, and contractual requirements associated with international and European-funded R&D projects.Experience with risk management and monitoring project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.Strong understanding of the engineering domain and current technological trends and challenges.In-depth knowledge of R&D funding programs and the criteria for participation, with the ability to identify viable funding opportunities.Familiarity with compliance requirements, including EU regulations, intellectual property rights, and financial reporting in the context of R&D projects.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to apply them in managing R&D projects.EducationMaster's Degree in Engineering (General).RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.Our business model covers the full process of project development, from concept to completion.At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.We provide equal employment opportunities and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected and safe from discrimination or harassment of any kind.We are also compliant to the Italian Law n.*****.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearch, Analyst, and Information TechnologyMechanical Or Industrial Engineering, Environmental Services, and Information Technology & Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
