PRODUCT ASSURANCE ENGINEER – ABOUT THE ROLEWe craft cutting-edge mechanical engineering solutions, pushing the boundaries of innovation for both ground and space-based optical applications.Our expertise merges precision with creativity, delivering breakthrough designs that drive the future of optical technology.Whether on Earth or in the vastness of space, we provide the engineering excellence that ensures your optical systems performance at their peak.As a Product Assurance Engineer you will work closely with the project team to ensure that quality, reliability, and compliance requirements are implemented and maintained throughout the entire product life cycle.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DOAnalyze and implementProduct Assurance requirementsthroughout the product life cycle, ensuring proper flow-down to subcontractors and suppliers.Draft and update theProduct Assurance Plan (PAP)for the project.Define, implement, and verifyCleanliness & Contamination Controlrequirements, particularly for sensitive hardware, by identifying appropriate preventive actions.Ensure compliance withProduct Assurance standardsduring the various project phases (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) using the relevantPA Gate Checklists.Collaborate with the project team to defineQualification Test PlansandTest Procedures, ensuring adequate coverage of design and operational risks and supporting qualification activities.Ensure thatFMECA analysisandAffidability/RAMSare properly managed and maintained according to standard requirements, including the definition ofCritical Items List (CIL).Verify and ensure the application of PA requirements in all activities related toproduction, assembly, and testing, including quality audits and technical documentation control.Prepare, monitor, and maintain updatedKPI and Quality MIP.ManageNon-Conformities (NC)by coordinating theNon-Conformance Review Board (NRB)and providing all necessary information.Ensure properConfiguration Managementthroughout the project phases, including drafting theConfiguration Management Plan (CMP).Conductproduct audits and inspections, preparing checklists in collaboration with the Quality Department.Maintain effective communication with clients (space agencies and/or private industries), reporting product status and any critical issues.Promote a culture focused onQuality, Reliability, and Preventionwithin the project team.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONSMaster's or Bachelor's degree in technical-scientific disciplines (preferably Engineering).3–5 years of experience in similar roles or in high-tech environments (preferably related to Product Quality).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.Knowledge ofUNI EN ****:****standard and aerospace, space, and defense industry standards.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with international stakeholders.Attention to detail, operational discipline, and a structured approach.Excellent knowledge of the English language.Ability to correctly interpret technical drawings and product specifications.THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVEExperience as PA on systems with electronic components.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONWorking time: full time, hybrid as per the internal policy#J-*****-Ljbffr
