OverviewAbout Us: Spectron Microsystems is a design center in Padua, Italy, focused on the invention, research, and development of acoustic-based filters for next-generation 5G communications.Our team of seasoned entrepreneurs and innovators is pioneering proprietary technology that is transforming RF filtering.We deliver innovative acoustic-only solutions for mobile, Wi-Fi, and base stations across new 5G bands and beyond.Role Overview: We are seeking a Radio Frequency Front-End Filter Designer to play a central role in introducing and bringing to market advanced RF filters for 5G communications.This position places strong emphasis on design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and yield optimization, ensuring our resonators and filters achieve high performance and manufacturability at scale.You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, system engineers, and production specialists to design, analyze, and optimize acoustic and RF filters, while also investigating yield challenges and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, synthesis, analysis, and optimization of RF front-end filters (SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, cavity)Characterize and analyze resonator and filter performance through wafer- and board-level measurementsApply statistical yield analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression, Pareto analysis, Six Sigma) to identify variability sources and optimize yieldDevelop and implement design-for-manufacturing strategies to ensure scalability and robustness of filter designsInvestigate and determine root causes of yield loss, proposing corrective actions and long-term mitigation strategiesCollaborate with system-level designers to ensure seamless integration of filters with other front-end componentsPartner with production and supply chain teams to monitor yield trends, process stability, and manufacturing challengesQualificationsM.S. and/or B.S. with 3+ years of relevant work experience, orPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fieldTechnical Skills:Prior experience with SAW, BAW, MEMS, IPD, microstrip, or cavity resonator/filter designProficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) or analytical methods for acoustics/electromagnetics optimizationSolid understanding of filter synthesis techniques and microwave design principlesExperience with statistical analysis methods for yield optimizationSkilled in design layout and automation toolsBasic knowledge of micro-device manufacturing processes and variability sourcesFamiliarity with RF and microwave measurement instruments and techniquesStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilitiesTeam-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused mindsetWhy Join Us?At Spectron Microsystems, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of RF filtering technology.This role offers the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic environment where innovation and practical impact go hand in hand#J-*****-Ljbffr
