Test ManagerCompany: AlstomWe create smart innovations to meet the mobility challenges oftoday and tomorrow.We design and manufacture a complete range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric busesand driverless trains, as well asinfrastructure, signalling and digital mobility solutions.Joining us meansjoininga truly global community ofmore than ***** people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.JOB TITLE & JOB CODETest ManagerPURPOSE OF THE JOBDelegated by the TVE and under the technical responsibility of the Train Manager, the Test Manager acts as « Project owner » for the comprehensive range of Integration/Tuning and Certification/Validation tests.ORGANISATIONOrganisation structure (job belongs to..)Hierarchical : Test team LeaderFunctional : TVE Train Validation EngineerNetwork & LinksInternalTrain manager, Test team, PrTCM, Validation Engineer, Technical expertsExternalTest infrastructure providers, Suppliers of test equipment, External Test laboratories, Customers representativesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESPerformance MeasurementTimely execution of the test program- Respect of tracks reservation compliant to test program- Respect the tests schedule and durationsTest Manager is responsible for:Permanently:Representing the TVE, on board the train, during validations and certification testsBeing the entry point for all the request of activities on train related to testing and coordinating them.Organising on a day to day basis, the way tests will be carried outMaking sure that tests equipment and instrumentation are always operational and availableBeing the interlocutor, on a daily basis, of the Railway Test Centre or Public Infrastructure and follows the way various testing phases are organised.Before the tests:Ensuring that test teams respect safety rules and procedures on board the train and preparing the work Authorization s.Preparing the test implementation (staffing, availability of tools, calibrated measurement devices, and on-board spare parts, ...)Checking that train a/o subsystems are compliant to the last Applicable configuration issued by System Engineer teamArranging with his/her test center's counter-part the test slot bookingDuring the tests:Conducting the tests and carrying out the tests to be done by ALSTOM in coordination with the Train Manager (T&C)Operationally coordinating all the testing teams and laboratories on boardDefining the priorities in case of conflicts between tests activitiesAfter the tests:Creating the failure reports.Producing the test book (test events chronology) and daily shift reportsMAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIESEducational Requirements & Experienceexperienced Test or Certification/Validation Technician/ EngineerStructured and organised approach of the jobCoordination skills and ability to take decisionsAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.We are committed to encouraging our employees to reach their full potential, while valuing and respecting them as individuals.#J-*****-Ljbffr
