We are the Atlantic Forwarding Group, a medium-sized freight forwarding company with a global presence and a focus on sea freight.Our Genoa office is home to a small, newly formed, and ambitious team, dedicated to becoming a leading player in our industry.We work with passion, professionalism, and enthusiasm, always striving to deliver the best for our customers and partners.To support our ambitious growth and expansion plans, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as anOperations Team LeadinGenoaItaly.In this role, you will be entrusted with the followingresponsibilities:Manage the daily operations of the Seafreight department.Work in a small, collaborative team and cover all aspects of the forwarding process.Challenge current ways of working (WoW) and optimize processes in line with internal procedures and customer requirements.Ensure full compliance with regulations, including internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS), as well as external government regulations and customer policies.Control and reduce operating costs while providing competitive services and pricing.Establish and maintain healthy, beneficial working relationships with carriers, vendors, agents, and service providers.Ensure overall delivery and quality of the unit's offerings to customers.Troubleshoot challenges that may affect operational activities.Actively handle import/export shipments as needed.The ideal candidate would bring the following skills and experiences:Bachelor's degree (Laurea Triennale) in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or Transport / Shipping / Maritime Studies.Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation; Sea Freight experience is a must.Relevant certifications such as IATA / FIATA, customs or import/export compliance courses, or Lean/Six Sigma are advantageous.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people skills.Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, "doer" mentality.Flexibility to actively handle shipments when required.What do we offer?The opportunity to become part of a small, dedicated team and actively contribute to the company's growth.Career development and growth opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Join our global team and contribute to the growth and success of Atlantic Forwarding Group#J-*****-Ljbffr
