Material Coordinator, Warehouse, Amazon LeoJob ID: | Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLCAmazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network.Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks.From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided.This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act.Base pay information is based on market location.Applicants should apply via Amazon's internal or external careers site.Key job responsibilitiesAccurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies.Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.Learn new processes.Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.Additional requirementsShift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day.Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.A day in the lifeThe Amazon Leo team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join us as a Material Coordinator.You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team.You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams.You are a problem solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience with Excel.Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience in problem solving and data analytics.Experience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activity.2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,560/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.For more information, please visit This position will remain posted until filled.Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.#J-*****-Ljbffr
