Location:based preferably in Lombardia, on a remote working schedule.Deadline for Applications: December 8th, ****About the Role:As a Strategic Account Manager within the Healthcare Solutions & Strategy (HS&S) team, you will lead strategic engagements with key Regional public healthcare institutions, governmental bodies, in the region and payer organizations. You will be responsible for developing long-term, high-impact partnerships with strategic public sector customers, ensuring alignment between their evolving healthcare needs and Boston Scientific's portfolio of innovative products, services, and solutions.You will play a pivotal role in navigating complex Regional public procurement processes, tender strategies, and supporting access initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and local authorities. This client-facing role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, experience in regional tenders, and a proven track record in driving value-based healthcare initiatives within large accounts and Regions.The Strategic Account Manager will cooperate with the public affairs department to ensure resources and activities are aligned to the strategic priorities in the region.In this role, you will be responsible to:Lead the strategic account planning and execution process for major Regional public sector customers and tender-based markets.Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across clinical, administrative, and governmental entities.Drive cross-functional collaboration across divisions to deliver tailored, value-driven healthcare solutions.Act as a subject matter expert in Regional public tenders,Represent the full Boston Scientific portfolio, ensuring public accounts receive coordinated, best-in-class service and support.Monitor relevant healthcare regulations, funding frameworks, and public procurement trends to shape strategy and proactively identify opportunities.Support business unit objectives, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and increased access to care through Boston Scientific innovations.What are we looking for in you:Minimum 7–10 years' experience in strategic account management, preferably in medical devices.Demonstrated experience with public procurement, tender processes, or government affairs in the healthcare sector.Proven ability to navigate and influence complex stakeholder environments, including public health authorities and regulatory bodies.Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, results-driven approach to long-term customer engagement.A demonstrated track record in people management or matrix collaboration is highly valued, as this role requires effective operational coordination with high-performing professionals across the organization.Native Italian, fluency in English – any additional European language will be considered a plus.Based preferably in the area of Lombardia.What can we offer to you:Permanent working contract with attractive benefits.Work life balance.Working in an international environment.Inspirational colleagues & culture.A company that strives for personal and professional development.A dynamic and management-related role within one of our groundbreaking and innovative divisions.We, Boston Scientific, are an equal employment opportunity employer.
