Senior Project Lead – M&A Transactions in Renewable Energies (Solar PV, BESS, Onshore Wind) EMEA Join UL Solutions as a Senior Project Lead to lead and manage impactful projects and transactions within our Due Diligence team, handling multi-technology transactions across the EMEA region.Job Description As a Senior Project Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the success of renewable energy initiatives by leading and executing complex due diligence projects, preparing competitive proposals, and building strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities Lead and execute technical due diligence for onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects, covering site assessments, technology reviews, design evaluations, contract analysis, and financial modeling.Produce comprehensive TDD reports, integrating inputs from multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality standards.Conduct site visits and compile reports to assess progress against specifications, budgets, and schedules.Prepare project proposals outlining scope, team, budget, and timelines, and manage internal and external resources to meet deliverables.Serve as primary client interface, attending meetings, fostering relationships, and delivering tailored solutions.Support team development and strategy, mentoring staff, applying best practices, identifying risks, and contributing to business growth.Qualifications 8–10+ years of experience in project management across renewable energy sectors (due diligence, development, construction, operations, M&A).Proven track record with utility-scale projects, including site assessments, design reviews, contract evaluations, and financial modeling.Strong technical knowledge of wind, solar PV, and BESS systems, especially BOP components and KPIs.Deep understanding of local markets with strong connections to industry stakeholders.Resilient and adaptable team player, capable of managing multiple complex projects under pressure.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with stakeholder engagement experience at senior levels.Risk-aware and solution-oriented, implementing effective mitigation strategies.Education in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, operations, or related fields; Master in Renewable Energy considered a plus.Multilingual (English + additional languages), tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office.What We Offer Permanent contract with flexible weekly schedule.Competitive salary based on experience + annual bonus (20%).Benefits.Work on local and international projects alongside UL experts.Matrix organization fostering collaboration and skill development.Access to UL University for continuous learning.Employee referral scheme.About UL Solutions UL Solutions is a global leader in applied safety science, transforming safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries.For more information, visit Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time #J-*****-Ljbffr
