2 giorni faAt Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people.From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.Every day, more than 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.MissionAs a software designer on the system tools & automation team, you will lead the design of software tools and platforms for both national and international engineering projects.Your role encompasses all phases of software production, including functional analysis, architecture definition, technology selection, development, code versioning, and technical documentation.You may also be involved in the development of pilots or applications utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), as well as leveraging Office 365 platforms like PowerApps and Power Automate.Additionally, you will participate in meetings with colleagues from various departments and clients to help achieve project milestones.You may work on specialized IT platforms and electronic devices, such as those used for train diagnostics.Your key responsibilities will include defining product requirements, engaging in technical discussions with suppliers, and managing product lifecycles in both national and international contexts.As part of the team, you will also take on training responsibilities, sometimes as a trainee and other times as a trainer.Educational RequirementsEducated to University Degree level.Passion and experience in software development.Proficiency in C# programming.Familiarity with the .NET / Framework ecosystem (WPF, Entity Framework, gRPC, Visual Studio, etc.).Understanding of networking principles, architectures, and protocols.Basic knowledge of software design patterns and models.Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (client and server).Knowledge of Office 365 platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps.Familiarity with Linux operating systems.Understanding of relational and non-relational databases.Knowledge of the EN ***** standard.Familiarity with railway systems.Skills and ValuesCuriosity about new solutions and technologies.Problem-solving and Agile mindset.Strong relational and communication abilities.The job position is based in Bologna or Bari, Italy.You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud.If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from youImportant to noteAs a global business, we're an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in.We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.#J-*****-Ljbffr
