If you have specific needs or require adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.For our Headquarter in Milan we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to lead our enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and DevOps practices in an international environment.The role combines technical leadership , operational ownership , and vendor coordination , ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and workplace services. The position manages activities and priorities across infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, endpoint, and monitoring domains.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure, Cloud & DevOps LeadershipOwn and oversee enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.Lead AWS-based infrastructure operations, governance, and evolution.Define and drive DevOps practices , automation, and operational standards.Oversee automation initiatives using Ansible and Google Apps Script .Ensure availability, performance, and resilience of core platforms and services.Security & Identity TechnologiesOversee implementation and operation of security and identity technologies.Govern identity and access management platforms ( One Identity ).Ensure security technologies are operated according to internal standards and best practices.Act as escalation point for infrastructure-related security topics.Monitoring, Reliability & OperationsGovern monitoring and observability platforms (e.g. PRTG , Instana ).Ensure incident, problem, and change processes are applied consistently.Drive operational improvements and reduction of recurring incidents.Vendor, Project & Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with external providers (DevOps, monitoring, infrastructure).Lead service reviews (SAL / service review meetings) with vendors.Contribute to and lead infrastructure and cloud-related projects.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, translating business needs into technical roadmaps.Required Skills & ExperienceMust HaveMaster Degree in subject related mattersFluent English (spoken and written)Proven experience in managing infrastructure and DevOperationsStrong AWS expertiseHands-on experience with DevOps automation (Ansible, scripting).Experience with Google Apps Script .Strong background in Windows and Linux systems .Enterprise experience with Google Workspace .Endpoint management experience using ManageEngine .Solid understanding of ITSM processes (incident, problem, change).Experience working with ITSM tools (preference for Jira ).Experience managing vendors and service level agreements (SLAs / SALs) .Nice to HaveCloud and security technologies: Akamai, Keycloak, One Identity .Certifications:ITIL v3 or v4 FoundationAgile / Project Management certificationsExperience in organizations aligned with ISO ***** / ISO ***** standards.Experience with GCP or AzureExposure to CI/CD platforms, container platforms, or OpenShift.Business ImpactStrategic ownership of enterprise infrastructure and cloud services.Reduced dependency on external providers through internal capability.Improved operational maturity, automation, and service quality.Direct impact on reliability, scalability, and security posture.What We Offer:A vibrant international environment in a continuously growing company.Extensive training and development opportunities within the group, including an Elearning platformA multicultural organizational structure and team.Hybrid working policy ******), including Flex office policyParental leave policyVolunteer dayWelfare programAbout FortidiaFortidia is the brand identity of MBE Worldwide S.p.A. - a privately-owned company headquartered in Italy - and its affiliates.
