Autonomous charging for drones and robots.Safe, powerful, and easy-to-use.Keeping your fleet operational.About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-onEmbedded Electronics Engineerto develop and scaleSkycharge's autonomous charging systemsfor drones and robots.You'll design, program, and optimize the embedded intelligence behind our charging platforms — managing power control, communication, and safety — to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that keep autonomous fleets running 24/7.This is akey technical rolein a small, dynamic team, perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of hardware and software and wants to see their work deployed in the real world.What You'll DoDesign and developembedded software for microcontrollers, including real-time applicationsfor Skycharge's next-generation of drone and robot charging systemsImplementfirmware for power management, communication and system controlDesign, prototype and validate high power analog andpower electronics circuits , includingMOSFETgate drivers and precision current/voltage sensing.Design and layouthigh-current PCBs , optimizing for efficiency, thermal management, EMI reduction and production readiness.Conduct system-level testing, debugging and validation, includingcommunication protocolssuch as PMBus, CAN, UART and PLC.Supporttesting, validation and field deploymentsof new firmware versionsMaintain high-qualitytechnical documentation and version controlContribute to thearchitecture and roadmapof next-generation charging platformsWhat You BringMaster's Degree inElectronics Engineering or Embedded Computer Engineering or related fieldMinimum2–5+ yearsof experience inembedded software developmentProficiency inC/C++for microcontrollers (STM32) and FreeRTOS, including task scheduling and inter-task communication.Experience withcommunication protocols(CAN, UART, RS485, Modbus, Ethernet, etc.)Proven expertise inhigh-current DC electronics , including MOSFETs, gate drivers and power stage design.Ability towork independentlyand takeend-to-end ownershipof your modules.Experience withGITcode versioning.Nice to Have:Background inpower electronics, robotics or drone systemsExperience withDroneCANcommunication protocolsFamiliarity withCE certificationandEMC complianceprocessesExperience with backend integration for IoT systems, ideally usingAWS IoT Coreand related cloud services.Why Join Us?
