The OpportunityA leading international FMCG group is seeking aManaging Director for its Italian business, a senior country leadership role with fullP&L ownershipand accountability for the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of the business.The Italian operation is profitable and strategically important, currently generating approximately€100m in turnover, with a clear ambition to grow to€150m over the next three years.The Managing Director will lead a business of around160 employees, with manufacturing based inNaples, and responsibility across branded retail, private label, and developing HoReCa channels.This role represents thesenior-most leadership position in Italy, acting as the key interface between the local organisation and international group stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of theItalian P&L, strategy, and business performanceDefine and execute thecountry growth strategy, aligned with group objectivesLead, develop, and inspire the Italian leadership team and wider organisationDrivecommercial, sales, and channel-led growthacross branded, private label, and HoReCaBuild senior relationships with key customers, partners, and distributorsOversee operational and supply chain performance to ensure delivery against commercial commitmentsAct as the senior representative of the business internally and externallyCandidate ProfileProven experience as aManaging Director, General Manager, or Country Leaderwithin FMCG or food manufacturingStrongcommercial and sales-led background, with demonstrable P&L accountabilityTrack record of leading established, multi-functional teamsComfortable operating with autonomy within an international group structureExperience managingbranded and private labelportfoliosBased in Naplesor willing to relocate (non-negotiable)#J-*****-Ljbffr
