What you'll need to havePreferred experience in a multi-unit facilities management organization in a high-volume retail sector and academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management (or equivalent) within your specialist areaPreferred experience in working with sustainability and the environment from a facility management perspective, in relation to your specialist areaExperience in coordinating and leading a teamPreferably, working knowledge of CAFM (computer aided facility management) systemsKnowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environmentKnow which services are included in the agreed Facility Management service scope in Ingka and understand the Facility Management delivery model, as well as the position of Facility Management within the Ingka businessUnderstand the main Facility Management business processes (e.g. work order management for urgent, planned and reactive maintenance, contract and supplier management) on site levelKnow the country Facility Management market for both hard and soft Facility Management services, as well as the international and Facility Management standards, manuals and rules in Ingka and how sustainability interacts with Facility Management (energy consumption, water consumption, emissions, waste management, chemical products, IWAY, purchasing ...)Knowledge of how to transform our operations to become climate positive and contribute to a circular societyTechnical understanding in all aspects of an Ingka building and connected equipment.Understanding of asset management (maintenance and repair history, reinvestment planning, ...)Knowledge of how to successfully deliver, organize and follow up on 'hard' service (technical maintenance, IKEA Food equipment, ...) and of all relevant IT tools within Facility ManagementFluent knowledge of Italian and English languagesWhat you'll be doing day to dayGuarantee that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholdersSupport purchase and implementation of relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions related to your specialist area that meet the needs of the business and the many peopleAdvice, mentor and support the delivery of the agreed FM (Facility Management) services in the cluster by maintaining and sharing up-to-date expertise and enhance the Ingka specialist area knowledge, while driving operational best-practice within the business in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations and mandatories in IngkaDevelop and maintain subject area expertise both personally and within the FM organization;
