Consultant Smart Factory & Operational Excellence At Porsche Consulting, we believe in operational excellence as a strategic lever for the sustainable transformation of businesses.We work side by side with our clients to design and implement innovative solutions that generate real value.To strengthen our Milan team, we are looking for several professionals to join us in the fields of Smart Factor & Operational Excellence.Are you ready to turn the challenges of Ai and digitalization into future-ready solutions?Do you want to be a pioneer in delivering innovative projects for our clients?Bring your skills and talents to our teamYour role You will play a key role in shaping operational strategy and transforming our clients' production systems.Leading projects in process optimization, industrial digitalization, and Smart Factory development, you will work closely with C-level decision-makers to design tailored, scalable, and sustainable solutions.Key responsibilities Leading interdisciplinary and international teams on client engagements linking operational improvements to the client's strategic goals and driving change through the implementation of measurable outcomes Analyze and redesign production and logistics processes (e.G., value stream mapping, layout optimization, flow design) Define and implement operations strategies at both corporate and plant levels Design and deploy Smart Factory roadmaps (Industry 4.0) Integrate digital technologies (IoT, MES, automation, AI in manufacturing, Digital Twin Technology Development of scalable and resilient operating models — including production network design, make-or-buy strategies, and industrial footprint optimization Support cultural and organizational transformation in operations Your profile You hold a degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or related fields) or an equivalent qualification.An MBA is considered a strong plus You have 3-5 years of experience in production management within multinational companies, preferably in the industrial goods or consumer goods sectors Extensive experience in optimizing production processes, combined with knowledge and hands-on experience in key enabling technologies: Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Digital Twin Technology Experience in operations strategy and industrial network optimization You have direct experience in managing teams and resources You possess excellent presentation and communication skills You demonstrate strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset, and enthusiasm for driving change Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Python is considered a plus Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.G., Power BI, Tableau) You are fluent in both Italian and English.Knowledge of German is a plus You are eager to travel and embrace new challenges This role requires full availability to travel (up to 80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU).What we offer High-impact projects with global industry leaders and direct contact at C level Access to exclusive methodologies and cutting-edge technologies Structured career development and continuous learning A company culture built on trust, responsibility, and collaboration Ready to shape the future of operations and manufacturing?Apply now and join us in driving the evolution of operational excellence.
