PeoItalyis recruiting on behalf of aglobal industrial manufacturing group, a leader in the construction machinery sector with a strong international presence and a growing European R&D footprint.We are looking for aTest & Validation Engineerwho will play a key role in ensuring new products meet the highest standards ofperformance, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliancefor the European market.You will manage thefull testing and validation lifecycleof new machinery, from planning and execution to data analysis and technical reporting.This is ahands-on, technical rolewith strong exposure to international R&D teams, field testing, and real customer applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and executevalidation plans (DVP&R)aligned with European market and regulatory requirementsPerform lab and field tests onmechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsLead testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracyAnalyze test results using engineering and statistical toolsPrepare detailedtechnical reportswith clear conclusions and improvement recommendationsPresent validation outcomes to internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance withEuropean directives and standards(e.g. Machinery Directive, EN standards)Maintain validation documentation for audits and certificationsSupport quality audits and corrective/preventive actionsWork closely withinternational R&D teamsto provide feedback on design and reliabilityCollaborate with Product Management and Sales to translate customer needs into test casesCoordinate with suppliers and external testing facilitiesImprove test methodologies, tools, and processesPerform risk assessments (e.g. FMEA)Promote a strong safety culture at test sitesAnnual international assignment at the global R&D headquarters (approx. 2–3 months/year)Regular travel withinEurope and the UK (up to 30%)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field3+ yearsof experience in testing/validation withinconstruction, agricultural, or heavy machineryStrong knowledge ofmechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsExperience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW, Minitab)Ability to operate heavy machinery for testing purposesKnowledge ofEuropean regulations and standardsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsFluent English; additional European languages are a plusValid driving licenseExperience in international or cross-cultural R&D environmentsBackground in reliability engineeringWhat's in It for YouCompetitive salary and benefitsExposure to aglobal, technology-driven organizationHigh-impact, hands-on engineering roleInternational collaboration and career growth opportunities
