Senior Network Planning Manager, Emerging countries Network PlanningJob ID: | Amazon.com Services LLCOverviewWe're seeking an experienced Network Planning Manager to lead strategic initiatives for our Emerging Country Network Topology Planning team.To lead supply chain planning and process automation initiatives, design and optimize multi-year network topology across multiple countries and manage network topology and strategic planning for countries/regions including Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Middle East, Turkey, South Africa, Singapore, and emerging markets.What You'll DoCollaborate with global Supply Chain professionals, Technology teams, Engineers, Operations teams, Finance teams, and Business leaders.Design cost-efficient supply chain networks that optimize customer experience.Define requirements and solutions with cross-functional teams.Drive strategic initiatives and best practices adoption.Provide regular updates to senior management on status, risks, and opportunities.Required SkillsStrong stakeholder management abilities.Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills.Excellence in project management.Executive communication capabilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Experience in data analysis and solution development.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Key Job ResponsibilitiesLead long-term strategic network planning initiatives that meet cost optimization and speed acceleration goals.Partner with country teams to develop long-term solutions for the next 3-5 years planning horizon.Communicate and drive long-term initiatives, actively work to remove bottlenecks and create scalable mechanisms, and use supply chain knowledge to influence process enhancements.Effectively influence stakeholders without having direct authority; drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project/program status via monthly and quarterly planning reviews.Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in the process while partnering with established markets teams to benchmark best practices and drive implementation and adoption for emerging countries.Contribute to mid-to-long-term planning, process standardization, and development of innovative solutions for new and existing emerging countries.Around 25% annual travel to respective countries to connect with local partners and learn local operations.About the TeamThe Emerging Country Long-term Network Topology and Supply Chain Planning team works to optimize multi-year and multi-echelon network topology strategy, along with supply chain planning processes for nine emerging countries.The team scope includes network planning for Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Middle East (AE, KSA, EG), Turkey, South Africa, and Singapore, with additional new countries to come with further international expansion.Amazon BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageMaternity and Parental Leave OptionsPaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) PlanCompensationThe base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Network Capacity planning and Long-term planning5+ years of owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experienceExperience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationKnowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.Strong verbal and written communicationPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Supply Chain Management or Operation ManagementHigh attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyExperience with Six Sigma/Lean, Statistical data analysis, network modeling and Operational ExcellenceAbility to write SQL/Python queries and use BI Tools like Tableau/Power BI.Knowledge of how a fulfillment center, and transportation network is designed and operatedDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentStrong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentEqual Employment OpportunityAmazon is an equal-opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visit for more information.#J-*****-Ljbffr
