OverviewJoin us and celebrate the beauty of human experience.Create for happier, healthier lives, with love for nature.Together, with kindness, humility, and a spirit of adventure, we deliver food innovations, craft inspired fragrances and develop beauty and wellbeing solutions.There's much to learn from our 79 production sites worldwide, known for their best-in-class processes and procedures.There's many to learn from, with high-performing leaders and caring colleagues to explore ideas and ambitions with.Every day, your energy, your personality, and your determination will shape our future, making a positive difference on billions of people.Every essence of you enriches our world.We are Givaudan.Human by nature.RoleUnder limited supervision, the Extraction Operator is responsible for operating and controlling extraction equipment — both continuous and batch — ensuring the production of materials in compliance with defined quality, safety, and performance standards.The role must be carried out in full adherence to company procedures, ATEX regulations, and all applicable safety requirements, for our site in Caronno Pertusella.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor extraction equipment (continuous and batch) to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with production instructions.Work in an ATEX environment, strictly following the regulations and safety procedures applicable to explosion-risk areas, maintaining constant focus on personal and team safety.Prepare, load, filter, and transfer raw materials and intermediates according to the Bill of Materials and formula specifications.Check and accurately record process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rate, concentration) using dedicated control systems (HMI).Perform cleaning, sanitization, and product changeover operations in compliance with GMP, HACCP, ATEX, and company standards.Verify product conformity through in-process quality tests and promptly report any anomalies or deviations, collaborating with the Shift Leader or Production Supervisor for resolution.Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and hygiene regulations.Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Lean activities within the department, sharing suggestions and best operational practices.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a technical or chemical-industrial background.2–4 years of experience in a production environment, ideally in the food, chemical, flavors, or pharmaceutical industries.Familiarity with automatic or semi-automatic systems, HMI control panels, and ATEX extraction systems (considered an advantage).Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and proven ability to work effectively in a team.Forklift driving license will be considered a plus.Benefits & CultureAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.You work within an inspiring teamwork culture – where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.Every essence of you enriches our world.Diversity drives innovation and creates closer connections with our employees, customers and partners.Givaudan embraces diversity and is committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone impacts our world.#J-*****-Ljbffr
