Your mission Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with us.Being an EHS Specialist in Italy is an exciting task since you are the superhero we needThe Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for managing implementing and overseeing EHS programs to ensure compliance with local state and federal laws as well as industry standards.This role involves more advanced EHS tasks risk assessments and compliance monitoring to promote a safe and sustainable working environment.The EHS Specialist will proactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions helping the organization minimize risks and protect employee health and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesEHS Program ManagementLead the development implementation and continuous improvement of comprehensive EHS programs ensuring alignment with corporate goals regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Develop strategies for integrating safety and environmental standards into daily operations while maintaining a balance between business objectives and compliance.Collaborate with other departments to implement EHS initiatives and foster a culture of safety across the organization.Risk Assessment and MitigationConduct in-depth risk assessments together with the supervisors and responsible parties to identify potential environmental health and safety hazards and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.Ensure that EHS risk assessments are continuously updated to reflect changing conditions regulations and business operations.Advise management supervisors and employees on best practices to reduce risks and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.EHS Audits and InspectionsPlan execute and document regular EHS audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal standards local and international regulations.Identify non-compliance issues or areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to address these gaps.Track audit results and provide detailed reports to senior leadership ensuring transparency and accountability.Advisory and TrainingProvide expert advice and guidance on EHS-related issues to management supervisors and employees ensuring clear communication of EHS responsibilities and compliance obligations.Develop and deliver training programs to promote awareness of EHS requirements safe work practices and emergency response procedures.Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS-related queries fostering strong relationships across all levels of the organization.EHS Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate up-to-date documentation of EHS activities audits inspections and corrective actions.Ensure that all EHS-related records are in compliance with legal requirements and are readily accessible for audits regulatory reviews and internal assessments.Prepare and submit required regulatory reports on time ensuring full compliance with local national regulations.Your profileEducation: Bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in EHS management ideally within an electrical activities environment.Proven track record in risk assessment program management and compliance monitoring.Skills and CompetenciesProgram Management: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple EHS programs simultaneously.Risk Management: Expertise in identifying evaluating and mitigating environmental health and safety risks.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local national and international EHS regulations standards and guidelines.Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex EHS concepts to all levels of the organization from frontline employees to senior management.Analytical Thinking: Ability to conduct thorough audits risk assessments and analyse data to drive continuous improvement.Languages: Italian & English C1.Core Values: Integrity accountability attention to detail and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace while supporting the overall success of the company.Why usOpportunities for career advancement as we are growing very fast in the EMEA region.Bonus payment on a fixed schedule every year based on performance.A multinational team with a diverse and inclusive mindset.Travel within Europe for training sessions or to attend renewable energy events.Opportunity to visit our R&D facilities in ChinaAbout usWe are a green tech company with young creative minds.We are fighting every day to make our mission happen Clean Power for All With 870GW of clean power presently installed worldwide we are on the road to successEmployment TypeFull-Time#J-*****-Ljbffr
