We have one open position of Oracle Database Administrator with one of our client based at Milan, Italy.This is a Permanent position.Below is the job description for your reference.Please share your application once you are interested.Role: Oracle Database AdministratorLocation: Milan OR Bari, Italy (Hybrid 2 days per week work from office)Hiring: PermanentLanguage: EnglishJob DescriptionIdeal candidate should have expert level knowledge of Oracle technology and he should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLAs also ensure customer delight and always adhere to policies and proceduresCandidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preference Principal responsibilities :The job holder is responsible for production support to Oracle databases and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support teamPerform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixesInvestigate and provide solutions to database performance related issuesLead Database team in crisis calls participate in MIR and PIR calls also mentor team membersExperience and expertise in maintaining complex High Availability Replication setupsProvide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster RecoveryIdentify automation and Self Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes Required SkillStrong technical knowledge of Oracle concepts like RAC Dataguard Golden GateExpertise in 12c 19c versions OEMBuild and Deploy Implement Solutions Perform Capacity Planning and DR PlanningTroubleshooting Performance Issues and providing solutionsExpertise in designing Backup Recovery strategiesExpertise in Role swap Failover planning and implementationStrong technical knowledge of database space managementImplementing releases service requestsExpertise of Golden Gate Replication Additional SkillKnowledge on Oracle CloudKnowledge on UNIX based OSKnowledge of Mongo DB Db2 LUW technologyknowledge of automation tool like Ansible Puppet TaniumKnowledge about Agile practices and Dev Ops toolsSoft skills Behavioral QualitiesEfficiently manage all tasksTaking ownership of tasks assigned tasksProactive approach in taking tasksClear Precise and Timely communication with Customer Team Members Management SkillsMandatory Skills : Oracle cloud services, Oracle RAC, ORACLE RMAN, Golden Gate-DB Administration, Oracle DB Administration, Oracle Linux AdministrationRecruiter's Email:
