OverviewVirtual Analysis Durability Engineer (Ref.XX****).The Virtual Analysis Durability Engineer will work within Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team and collaborate with Product Release Centers (PRCs) and with other Stellantis cross-functional teams to support product development and methodological activities through CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) in the area of stress and fatigues analysis.This position reports to the Virtual Analysis Lead of the discipline.Robust technical, interpersonal and team leadership skills are essential.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and validate FE (Finite Element) models for structural analysis.Execute simulation on Propulsion Systems components / sub-systems and systems for structural (stress and fatigue) under multiple loads (semi-static, deterministic, road input and random excitations) and time steps combinations.Perform optimization analysis aimed to ensure the best trade-off over performances (durability, NVH, weight, ..).Execute detailed studies including root cause analysis on issues, identification and validation of enablers for meeting the target.Perform correlation activities aimed to demonstrate the virtual analysis confidence level.Coordinate execution of CAE activities for propulsion systems program(s) including timely delivery of status vs target and proactive identification / validation of enablers.Technical synthesis, reporting and communication with clear takeaways, executive summary and, if needed, risk mitigation plan.Direct interaction with STLA stakeholders for all the steering activities: input data collection, assumptions validation, results revision and communication.QualificationsMaster of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Applied Physics, or related Engineering field).Thorough knowledge of the English language including both written and oral communication.Advanced knowledge of CAE tools for pre-processing (like Hyperworks, ANSA), Structural analysis (like Abaqus, NASTRAN and Optistruct) and fatigue softwares (FEMFAT, nCODE).General knowledge of commercial CAD packaging including NX and Teamcenter.Previous experience in structural (stress and fatigue) analysis.Thorough knowledge of Propulsion Systems design with focus on ICE, conventional / electrified transmission, EDM (Electric Drive Module) and batteries.Effective communications skills and analytical thinking.Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and uncertainty.Excellent work ethic, organization and communication skills.DetailsCountry:City:Minimum level of experience required: New graduateLanguagesGeneral informationJoining us means joining a global company.Driven by the constant search for innovation and excellence, a pioneer and leader in clean technologies and sustainable mobility, the Group intends to remain at the forefront of the major trends that are moving the world.With its efficiency, agility and team spirit, the Group is demanding and bold in defining the mobility of tomorrow.To succeed in these transformations, the company needs all the talents.Join usAt Stellantis, we evaluate candidates according to their qualifications, their merits and the needs of the profession.We welcome applications from people of all gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, and disability.The diversity of our teams will allow us to better understand the evolving needs of our customers and our future environment.#J-*****-Ljbffr
