Senior Finance Manager

OverviewTheSenior Finance Manageroversees the organization\'s financial health and performance, leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.The Senior Finance Manager will ensure compliance with financial regulations, develop internal controls and drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.The role reports to the Managing Director – Italy and is responsible for the European Administration & Accounting department.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Managing Director to support strategic decisions.Financial ReportingOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the relevant standards and internal procedures.Present financial performance reports and variance analysis.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Accounting & ComplianceMaintain compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.Business PartneringCollaborate with business units to evaluate financial performance, investment opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.Support cross-functional teams with financial modeling and scenario analysis.Strategic InitiativesDrive process automation and digital transformation within the finance department.Participate in strategic projects such as M&A analysis, capital allocation, and risk management.QualificationsUniversity degree (university of applied sciences, university) or comparable in Business, Management, or FinanceExcellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic teamDemonstrated experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the industry sectorExperience should include legal, audit, compliance, budgetStrategic financial planning and analytical mindsetDemonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systemsProven effectiveness leading professionals in finance and accountingFlexible and a self-starter; able to multitask while also being highly detail-orientedLanguages: English: very good (verbal and written)Advanced computer skills in particular MS Office, ERP and Data Management Systems (DMS)Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication.Must be proficient at analyzing data, creating reports and making strategic recommendations based on data and trendsAbility to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlinesProblem solving attitudeLeadership skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAccuracy, diligence and discretion, affinity for numbersExcellent communication skillsTeam working attitudeExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.What We OfferProfessional growth path within an international, dynamic company renowned for excellence in engineering solutionsChallenging, cutting-edge projects with high added value and tangible impactOpportunities for professional and financial growth are aligned with acquired skills and achieved resultsA collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven working environmentA competitive compensation package, flexible working hours, and a high level of job securityPermanent employment contract#J-*****-Ljbffr
