About the BusinessNXPs Smart Front-End & Interfaces product line is developing millimeter wave technology products in continuation of its leading portfolio of Automotive Radar and 5G solutions.Specifically this new effort is directed towards bridging high-speed wired interfaces with millimeter wave wireless technologies which will offer ground-breaking and innovative solutions to the consumer computing and industrial markets.Significant technical challenges must be overcome to make these products a reality and this journey will provide a truly rewarding experience.If you are interested in learning more about this exciting program and become a member of our team please apply to this job through Workday.Job SummaryWe are looking for world-class mmWave Antenna engineers to work with our experienced design team to implement state of the art mmWave broadband communications ICs.If you have mmWave design expertise passion for innovation desire to challenge yourself and want to put your creativity at work this is a unique opportunity to join the leader in consumer and automotive semiconductors.Key responsibilitiesDesign develop optimize and implement antennas and antenna-in-package modules for millimeter wave wireless technologies.Close collaboration with silicon and package designers to satisfy SI PI and EM requirements.Hands-on in the lab verification of millimeter wave measurement test beds and composite channelsResponsible for technical project documentationExecute assigned tasks within defined timelinesInterface with cross-functional teams to define requirements and features of future products.Job QualificationsMSEE or PhD degree (preferred) with 15 years of experience in mmWave Antenna design modeling simulation and measurement experiencePrior experience of designing and validating 5G and mmWave antennas and AiP module designs in mobile and computing applicationsDeep knowledge of RF and EM simulation tools (e.g. Ansys HFSS Cadence Keysight)Strong technical knowledge in 2D and 3D electromagnetic modeling transmission line theory EM propagation Near field and Far field effectsStrong proficiency in MATLAB / Simulink for antenna modeling simulation and data analysisExperience using lab equipment for high-speed characterization VNA TDR real-time scope spectrum analyzer etcDeep knowledge with laminate multi-layer manufacturing processes and materialsStrong knowledge of design flows tools and methodologiesExcellent communication interpersonal and teamwork skills with a pro-active can-do attitude#LI-****Employment Type:Full-TimeExperience:yearsVacancy:1#J-*****-Ljbffr
