Change & Engagement Manager

Job Description For the Central Team of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), we are looking for a Change & Engagement Manager to join our Operations & IT department.In this role, you will lead the Change & Adoption stream within our Operational Excellence framework, driving engagement and transformation across key areas: Process Review & Reengineering; Platform Consolidation; Data Management and Change & Adoption.Acting as a strategic connector across IT, Core Platforms (including AI), Data, HR, and Business Functions, you will ensure that change initiatives are clearly communicated, consistently adopted, and effectively monitored, to ensure alignment with our strategic goals.Key responsibilitiesLeading the Change & Adoption Pillar of the Operational Excellence strategy, ensuring alignment across all transformation streamsDesigning and executing change management strategies that support process, platform, and data transformation initiativesCollaborating with IT teams (including Release, Problem, and Service Management) to ensure change initiatives are ITIL-aligned and operationally soundCoordinating with HR to leverage the internal training platform for upskilling and change readinessPartnering with Internal Communications to ensure messaging is clear, branded, and consistent across all channelsEngaging with business stakeholders across a highly federated and sometimes siloed environment to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of changeCollaborating with Global platform teams/champions to align change initiatives with platform strategy and data model evolutionSupporting the adoption and awareness of AI tools, including AI/Selfhelp and GenAI Strategy, as part of transformation effortsActing as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and guidance on change impacts and stakeholder engagementPromoting a culture of continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive engagement across all levels of the organizationRequirementsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in change management, communications, and IT within a complex, multinational environmentStrong understanding of ITIL frameworks and how they intersect with change and release processesDemonstrated ability to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams through dotted-line relationshipsExperience working with HR, internal communications, and business functions to drive adoption and engagementFamiliarity with training platforms, digital adoption tools, and stakeholder engagement strategiesPreferred CertificationsITIL Foundation or higherPROSCI, PMP, or equivalent change management certificationKey CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsEmpathetic communication with persuasive impactExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilityComfortable in navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environmentsStakeholder ManagementStrong communication, public speaking and storytelling skillsMust be fluent in English (C1 Level), additional languages are an advantage (Italian, French, Spanish)Company ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.Over almost 200 years, we have built a multinational group that is present in more than 50 countries, with 470 companies and nearly 82,000 employees.Our group aims to become the standard bearer and industry leader in the European retail insurance market, building on our existing base of 50 million retail clients, out of an overall total of 72 million.Global Corporate & Commercial is the Generali Group unit developing P&C business and insurance services for medium and large companies.The unit acts on a global scale and deploys an integrated approach at Group level with a central management team and specialized teams active in individual countries.Through GC&C, Generali aims to become a key world player in the corporate-commercial segment.Generali is proud to be an inclusive employer that considers applicants regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion, political views, marital status or philosophy of life.If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation or assistance, we will support you during the selection process.#J-*****-Ljbffr
