[ITALY] Senior Sales Engineer – Electrochemical & Battery Test InstrumentationBioLogic is a leading high-technology company based in Grenoble designing, manufacturing precision instruments for electrochemistry and energy storage.With more than 180 employees in France and 7 subsidiaries worldwide, BioLogic supports research and innovation in over 70 countries.In Italy, the Senior Sales Engineer works autonomously from home, strongly connected to the European sales organisation.Role Overview ??You will be fully responsible for developing BioLogic's business in Italy, working closely with the Area Sales Manager from France, the Global Sales Manager, and the French headquarters.The role combines technical expertise, consultative sales, strategic account management, autonomy, and strong connection with our European team.Key Responsibilities ??Business Development & Territory OwnershipDevelop and execute the sales strategy for your region.Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.Secure and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits and calls.Identify business opportunities in academia, industry, and emerging fields (battery innovation, hydrogen, materials science, corrosion, fundamental electrochemistry, sensors).Maintain an active and well-documented pipeline using CRM tools.Technical Expertise & Customer SupportProvide high-level technical presentations, seminars, and instrument demonstrations.Understand customer needs and recommend optimal solutions across all BioLogic ranges.Perform and document installation and operational qualifications (OQ) for new instruments.Work closely with application specialists and support engineers (remote coordination with France and Europe).Account ManagementBuild strong long-term relationships with key academic and industrial accounts.Ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up after installation.Gather market insights and competitive information.Cross-functional CollaborationCoordinate with administration and service teams for smooth delivery and installations.Participate in selected conferences, trade fairs, and scientific events in your territory and in Europe.Contribute to marketing initiatives and product launches.Profile & Qualifications ?3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, scientific instrumentation, or application engineering.Strong understanding of electrochemistry, batteries, materials science, physics, or analytical instrumentation.Bachelor/Master/PhD in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related fields.Ability to work autonomously, structure priorities, and manage a large territory.Strong communication, presentation, and customer-relationship skills.Fluent in Italian and English.Willingness to travel up to 60%.PreferredExperience with potentiostats/galvanostats, battery cyclers or EIS.Experience with academic research environments or industrial R&D centres.Some knowledge of French is a plus.SkillsStrong organisation and planningConsultative sales mindsetAbility to build relationships and manage key accountsProblem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to quickly learn troubleshooting and service basicsAutonomy, reliability, and proactive attitudeComfortable with MS Office and CRM toolsAbility to drive customer visits and recurring outreachWhat We Offer ?Full work-from-home flexibilityCompetitive compensation: base salary + performance bonus + car or car allowanceA tailored onboarding and training program at the French headquarters (Grenoble)The support of an international team with strong technical expertiseHigh-quality instruments used by top research institutions worldwideA key, autonomous role in a strategic and growing European marketCareer development opportunities within the global BioLogic organisationRecruitment process ??2 or 3 remote job interviews with the sales management and/or the HR headquarters team1 meeting at the French headquarters (Grenoble)Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesComputers and Electronics ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at BioLogic by 2x.#J-*****-Ljbffr
