About the role:Gartner's Consulting business is anextensionof Gartner's industry-leading IT Research.From CIOs, to leaders in business and government, we help Gartner clients across enterprises translate insights into transformational actions and achieve their mission-critical priorities.Leveraging the breadth of Gartner's resources, Consulting is growing rapidly, with unlimited potential to continue expanding our client base.Technology Strategy Consulting.We help the C-suite make the right decisions based on how technology can transform their businesses.In today's world, a consulting firm that is "born digital", (with the ability to directly leverage the full power of Gartner's research and insights) has relevance to the most important strategic decisions any business will make.What you'll doOur Consultants are crucial members of our technology strategy teams, where you'll be confident in delivering across your own workstreams and activities.You'll contribute to hypothesis development and be able to synthesize your analysis in a clear and strategic manner.You'll be performing client interviews and research to identify key themes and focus areas, applying deep understanding of client expectations, priorities, and challenges.You'll be communicating regularly with client contacts, and be comfortable developing high-quality strategic content and insight for the engagement.What you'll needExperience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacityUnderstanding in at least one core domain as for example: Application Architecture and Roadmap, Digital Transformation, Agile/DevOps, Cloud solution, SAP, ERP etc.Experience working with one or more IT solutionsAn unwavering commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide and receive constructive/ corrective action when neededDemonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problemsAn ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneouslyMBA or other advanced degree preferredConsulting Experience:Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity.Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferredA consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of commercial or government entitiesAn ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goalDemonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems.Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client's most pressing business challengesAn ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneouslyExcellence in written and verbal communicationExpertise with strategic consulting frameworksBuilding rapid proto-types for presentations / sales proposalsExcellent people skills and customer relationship track record;Experience in developing client business relationships as part of a commercial organisation;#LI-JD5Who are we?At Gartner, Inc.
