Apply for theEquipment Engineer (Expansion Project)role atHHLA PLT Italy.HHLA PLT Italy is executing a phased expansion to transform the facility into a state-of-the-art intermodal container and RoRo terminal.The Expansion Project Team (Logistica Giuliana) will procure and bring into operation major port equipment (STS, ARMG, RTG) and selected minor terminal equipment, targeting best-in-class performance and safety.We are seeking a hands-onEquipment Engineerto support the introduction of our future terminal equipment (e.g., STS, ARMG, RTG, and minor equipment).The role spans specification support, procurement, delivery, testing and commissioning, and final handover to operations.You will work closely with a small, experienced team and take ownership of equipment packages aligned with your experience.Key responsibilities include coordinating suppliers and internal stakeholders (operations, automation/IT, civil, QHSE) and ensuring that all deliverables within your scope are completed on time, within budget, and in line with required quality and safety standards.Scope of work & key responsibilities:Plan, organize and execute procurement, delivery, testing and commissioning activities for your assigned equipment package, aligned with the approved project schedule.Analyze operational and project requirements to support equipment specifications and technical solutions.Coordinate day-to-day with OEMs/suppliers; track progress, manage issues, and drive timely resolution of risks and delays.Support and apply company QA/QC and HSE procedures; contribute to FAT/SAT planning and execution with the team.Prepare and maintain package documentation: schedules, reports, technical deliverables, change records, and hand-over dossiers (incl.
