Network Install Technician, Infrastructure DeliveryJob ID: ******* | Amazon Data Services, Inc.Transform network infrastructure by joining our dynamic teamYou will develop innovative solutions that drive network stability and scalability, leveraging your technical expertise to create automated systems that power global technological advancement.Network Install Technicians collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex technical scenarios, and implement strategic solutions that keep our network running seamlessly.You will engage in hands-on technical work requiring creativity, precision, and a passion for technology.Key Job ResponsibilitiesMove and implement large enterprise equipment.Install fiber and copper cabling, patch cabling between equipment.Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break-fix activities.Safely use material handling tools and equipment.Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.Physical RequirementsRegularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.Work in an environment that operates 24/7, with primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed.Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.Basic QualificationsHigh school or equivalent diploma.2+ years of experience in technical/vocational roles such as computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project management.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree or 2+ years of professional or military experience.Industry-relevant certification (Linux+, LPIC-1, or equivalent, or CompTIA A+, N+, or Sec+).Experience in a data center or other critical environment.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visit for more information.#J-*****-Ljbffr
