Lincotek, headquartered in Rubbiano, Parma, Italy, is a global contract manufacturer for services in markets including Industrial Gas Turbines, Aerospace and Medical Device applications, as well as a leading manufacturer of industrial coating equipment and one of the most respected producers in the Additive Manufacturing field.The Group has more than 1,800 employees located in 18 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia.ABOUT THE ROLEThe position is part of the R&D team, which collaborates closely with the R&D departments of our customers and develops application processes for new technologies and materials—primarily coatings, but not exclusively—being introduced to the market.MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE TEAMDeveloping processes in accordance with customer requirements or market needsDemonstrating the industrial feasibility of the process through the development and production of the first batchSupporting the industrialization of the developed process within the Operations areas of our facilities or directly at customer sites.The team works in close coordination with the Rubbiano site, other plants within the Surface Solutions division and with customers worldwide.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESManaging development projects for advanced coatings applied to components across various industrial sectors, ensuring effective coordination with internal functions and adherence to project timelines;Leading the operational development of the process (in collaboration with other departments where required), including defining process parameters and manufacturing strategies—also through the development of robotic and CNC programs—for the deposition of Thermal Spray coatings;Performing process analysis in testing and operational environments, and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders through structured reports and technical presentations;Preparing operating instructions and technical documentation to enable the transfer of developed processes to the Operations area;Coordinating the transfer and integration of newly developed processes into Operations at company sites or customer facilities;Providing technical support to Operations during process transfer and assisting in troubleshooting production-related issues.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYNot applicable.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Material Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or any related fieldsPhD or an equivalent professional experience (preferred)REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrong team-working skills, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and interest in technologically advanced industrial settingsStrong customer orientation (internal and external), with the ability to communicate feedback clearly and effectively, and excellent attention to detailHigh levels of energy, motivation, and passion for production process engineering, with the ability to promote these values within the organizationGood command of English (both written and spoken)Excellent command of Italian (both written and spoken) is mandatoryStrong adaptability and conflict-management capabilitiesAvailability for business travel, including multi-week assignments.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment.The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.PHYSICAL DEMANDWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.The employee may occasionally lift and / or move up to ******* kg.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.POSITION TYPE AND WORKING HOURSFull-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 17:30, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.As an exempt employee, you will be required to work additional hours to support business demands.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSNational and international travel (including intercontinental travel) may be required to support the company's rapid expansion, amounting to approximately *****% of annual working days.Business trips may involve multi-week stays abroad.Occasional overseas and domestic travel may also be required to support the rapid growth of the company.Lincotek provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.#J-*****-Ljbffr
