Senior Project Manager

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (PT) team.As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a play a pivotal in bringing innovative, high-impact projects to life and ensuring their successful execution.Your skills in leadership, competence and creativity are required for the significant expansion of the existing global PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (HUB EUC).You are fully responsible for facilitating the necessary setups in our European PT factories, supporting integration with other BUs including Service into our European PT business.Your competence and leadership skills are required in the implementation (setting structures, rules, and coordination) of multi-factory project management, project transfer between factories, product lines, or HUBs, as well as various cross-HUB/PL initiatives.You will have plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your communication and leadership skills on a global level, to listen and to make the decisive point at the right moment to achieve our common goal.How you will make an impactSupport the project team and coordinate for an effective project plan with the factories to effectively achieve goalsLead project planning and execution sustainable, in a timely manner and with consideration for the requirements of all ongoing planning and production processesPrepare all ongoing project data clearly and meaningfully for regular reporting/review for management review at all levelsBe the sole contact person for all aspects of this complex implementation task with high responsibility, which requires a great deal of tact, experience and determinationCoordinate the local project managers of the factories involved, always have an overview and represent PGTR at the customer in all mattersSet and monitor standards and rules for excellence in complex project transfers and project management for multiple factoriesBe the point of contact for critical customers for execution across multiple product lines and/or HUBsPrepare all ongoing project data clearly and meaningfully for regular reporting/review for managementEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycleMentor team members by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growthBe a strong leader and defender of all interests of the HUB and BU in the subsequent implementation and supervision in cooperation with the project partnersYour backgroundDegree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field( 5+) years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completionDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project statuses to stakeholders at all levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing project requirementsHitachi Energy Senior Project Manager certification or PMP certification (or willingness to achieve) is a powerful plusHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.Over three billion people depend on our technologies to power their daily lives.With over a century in pioneering mission-critical technologies like high-voltage, transformers, automation, and power electronics, we are addressing the most urgent energy challenge of our time – balancing soaring electricity demand, while decarbonizing the power system.Headquartered in Switzerland, we employ over 50,000 people in 60 countries and generate revenues of around $16 billion USD.We welcome you to apply today.#J-*****-Ljbffr
