OverviewHoscoAn Assistant IT, Safety&Security Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day support of IT systems for business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel.An Assistant IT, Safety&Security Manager directs security personnel and works with Department Heads to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience while ensuring compliance with local safety legislation and hotel emergency procedures.ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistently strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outagesUnderstand, fully, the legal requirements on IT governance and securityHandle, efficiently and completely, IT issues that ariseIdentify current and future system needs and provide solutions for the identified needsAssist the hotel with Local Safety Legislation to ensure compliance of the security departmentDirect and coordinate the activities of all security personnel, engage in the implementation of safety and security procedures for the department, and provide assistance and advice to other departments in relation to securityBuild strong internal working relationships with all hotel DepartmentsQualificationsPrevious IT management experience, preferably in the hotel, leisure, and/or service sectorExperience of all Microsoft systemsExperience of hotel applications, such as Fidelio and Micros, preferredExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsCurrent technical skills and knowledge of technologyGeneral understanding of IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including networks, databases, business applications, and development methodologyAbility to plan ahead and develop contingency plans, where necessaryOrganised and systematic approach to problem solvingFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situationsAdvantagesAbility to work in a teamExcellent attention to detailPositive AttitudeIT proficientWillingness to develop team members and selfWhat it's like to work for HiltonHilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.For nearly a century, Hilton has offered business and leisure travelers the finest in accommodations, service, amenities and value.Hilton is dedicated to continuing its tradition of providing exceptional guest experiences across its global brands.Our vision "to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality" unites us as a team to create remarkable hospitality experiences around the world every day.And, our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it allSettore: Hotel/TurismoRuolo: IT/Technology#J-*****-Ljbffr
