We strive to Make the Place – creating a future where people and place enrich one another.Rosewood Rome is currently casting for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, supporting the smooth operation of the accounts payable function. The role will be instrumental in securing the successful opening of the hotel, by keeping updated and accurate vendor books.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.Verify, code, and enter accounts payable transactions into the accounting system.Prepare and execute vendor payments.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and supporting documentation.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Support internal and external audits as required.Support the setup and improvement of new accounting software.Any other activities related to accounting to support the Finance Dept.About YouProven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role in hospitality is a plus.Mandatory fluent Italian an English languages.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a Team.A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
