welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The AWS Network Design and Deployment Team (NIDD) is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to drive data-centre and network capacity planning.You will assess demand requirements together with available network resources to determine and drive optimal solutions for our customers.You'll work with stakeholders to complete prerequisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity, lead programs aimed at improving infrastructure resource utilization and availability, and effectively plan and deliver data-centre capacity across the ADC Organization.Key job responsibilitiesMonitor the network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.Work with stakeholders (networking engineers, tech program managers, senior management) to define requirements and processes.Manage the dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.Take end-to-end responsibility for the program's execution and success.Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.Diverse teamThe Network Design and Deployment (NIDD) team oversees the design and deployment of cable infrastructure within ADC regions, including milestone review, comment issuance, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.NIDD planning also assesses partner team designs to ensure compliance with AWS and customer requirements, focusing on cabling pathways, sizing, location, type, classification, and installation.The team provides telecom room designs, including sizing and power for various rooms, as well as user-outlet designs.The role involves coordinating meetings with partner teams to clarify ownership for delivering connectivity, working with multiple design/construction and networking teams.You will need to be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release
