Company OverviewSPACE INDUSTRIESis adynamic and rapidly growing companyoperating in theaerospace sector, with a strong commitment toinnovation, reliability, and mission excellence.The company supportscomplex space programsand providesend-to-end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success.Position OverviewSpace Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in theassembly, integration, and testing (AIT)ofsmall satellites, is seeking anexperienced RF/EMC Specialist Engineerto manage and executeRadio Frequency (RF)andElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC)testing campaigns within the company'sanechoic test facility.The selected candidate will be responsible forplanning, performing, and analyzing RF and EMC testson satellite platforms, subsystems, and payloads, ensuring full compliance withECSS standards, customer specifications, and space program requirements.This position requires strong expertise inRF measurements,EMC/EMI testing, andanechoic chamber operations, combined with a deep understanding ofspace hardware testing procedures.Main ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and documentRF and EMC test campaignsforsmall satellitesand related equipment in accordance withECSSand customer requirements.Operateanechoic test facilitiesand associated instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, antennas, EMI receivers, LISNs, amplifiers).Define and implementtest setups, wiring configurations, and instrumentation layouts.PerformEMI/EMC,RF performance,antenna pattern, andradiated susceptibilitytests.Ensure compliance with applicableECSS-E-ST-*****,MIL-STD-461, and project-specific test standards.Analyze and interpret test data, identify anomalies, and prepare detailedtest reports.Collaborate withAIT,Engineering, andProduct Assuranceteams for test planning and troubleshooting.Maintain calibration and functionality of RF and EMC test equipment.Supporttest readiness reviews (TRR)and participate in project reviews (TRB, QR, FR).Ensure adherence tosafety proceduresandcleanroom/ESD requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and facility capabilities.QualificationsDegree inElectronics,Telecommunications,Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.Minimum 5 years of experienceinRF and EMC testingwithin theaerospaceorhigh-reliabilitysector.Proven experience withanechoic chamber operationsand RF measurement systems.In-depth knowledge ofECSS,MIL-STD, andESA/ASItest standards.Hands-on experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF amplifiers, antennas, EMI receivers).Strong understanding ofRF systems,antennas, andEMC/EMI phenomena.Proficiency indata analysis,test reporting, and root cause investigation.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex test setups independently.Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.Good command ofEnglish(written and spoken).Holder of a valid category B driving license.Preferred QualificationsExperience inSmall SatelliteorESA/ASIprograms.Familiarity withsatellite payloadsandRF communication subsystems.Knowledge oftest automationtools and scripting (e.g. LabVIEW, Python).Certification or training inEMC/RF testingorECSS test standards.What We OfferA dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join UsA unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-*****-Ljbffr
