A global energy and industrial group operating across multiple continents, delivering large scale renewable energy and green-metallurgy projects.The business is financially strong, highly innovative, and known for developing engineering talent through continuous training, modern tools, and international project exposure.The RoleThe Project Engineer supports the full engineering lifecycle of renewable energy projects from early design through to construction and handover.You'll act as the technical link between design, procurement, site operations, and external engineering partners, ensuring that all project deliverables meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead engineering activities and prioritise work based on the project schedulePerform cross-checks and verification of executive designs prepared internally or by external engineering partnersAct as the interface between external engineering teams and the internal Engineering DepartmentEnsure design deliverables are issued on time and in line with local norms and authorised standardsVerify compliance with relevant regulations and company technical standardsSupport the Project Manager during procurement and contract preparationAssist in preparing subcontract requisitions and running tenders with local subcontractorsProvide engineering support to the site team, including coordination with suppliers when requiredRequirementsDegree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related fieldsExperience in EPC or utility-scale renewable energy projectsStrong understanding of engineering standards, regulatory frameworks, and design deliverablesClear communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsFluent in Italian and EnglishTraining, development, and progression pathwaysInternational exposure across a high-growth project pipelineCollaborative, professional working environmentSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionServices for Renewable Energy and Engineering ServicesGet notified about new Project Engineer jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
