You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle ofAC and/or DC charging hardware, ensuring regulatory compliance, customer competitiveness, technical reliability, and business profitability — while coordinating with software teams to deliver a seamless ecosystem experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & Roadmap:Define and own the product roadmap forhome & semi-public/pro AC/DC charging hardware.Translatecustomer needs, regulatory requirements, and OEM/market trendsintodetailed product specifications (HW + interfaces).LeadValue Engineering / cost-down initiativesto improveCOGS competitivenesswithout compromising quality.Technical & Industrial CoordinationWork daily withR&D, Engineering & Manufacturingteams to drive:Electrical architecture, firmware interfaces, thermal/EMC constraints, safetyIndustrialization plans, production kickoff & certification documentationSupplier & component validation during RFQ and mass productionGuarantee productcompliance and certification readiness(CE, MID, AFIR, ISO*****, OCPP, Smart Charging, etc.)Digital & Ecosystem IntegrationEnsure seamless integration withCharging Platform (CPMS)andMobile App UX— API-level coordination with digital product managers.DefineHW-SW feature dependencies(e.G., Plug & Charge ISO*****, Smart Charging, V2G, dynamic load balancing).Business Ownership & Go-to-MarketBuild thebusiness case and go-to-market strategyfor each EVSE product.Definepricing, positioning, offering variants (Base vs. Smart vs. OEM-specific).Supportmarket rollout in collaboration with B2C/B2B sales teams.Providecompetitive benchmarkingVoice of CustomerAct as thecenter of excellence for product positioning, coordinating with:OEMs, Utilities, Installers, Fleet operators, Charging networksCollect insights from the field andprioritize real market needs, not theoretical features.QualificationsEngineering Tech Degree(Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or similar).2+ years of experiencemanagingEVSE hardware, energy infrastructure, automotive electronics, or industrial IoT products.Solid understanding ofpower electronics + HW certifications + firmware dependencies.Comfortable working atintersection of hardware, software, and business strategy.Plus (Nice-to-Have)Knowledge ofISO*****, OCPP, smart charging / PV integration / V2GExperience withOEM partnerships / utility collaboration / installers networkUnderstanding ofEV charging business models (CAPEX/OPEX/Services/Subscriptions)Work LocationTurin or MilanHybrid
