About usWe're iubenda, the team turning compliance into a growth engine.We help over 110K businesses all around the world build trust, boost performance, and grow without limits.Now part of team.Blue (/), we're scaling privacy tech with confidence, creativity, and a little bit of attitude.Join a team that moves fast, thinks big, and makes privacy feel exciting againMission & Core PurposeAs a Finance Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business, whilst ensuring adherence to your fiduciary duties as a member of our finance team.You will enjoy building and developing relationships with non-finance stakeholders and supporting commercial decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness partner with a wide range of stakeholders (commercial/sales/operational), providing visibility and understanding of financial results.Production of the Monthly Business Review deck and presentation of financial results to the executive leadership team.Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process for your assigned businesses (KPIs, Revenue, EBITDA and Cashflow).Implement headcount reporting and forecasting to aid recruitment decisions.Provide transparency of business risks and work with senior management to identify and implement mitigation plans, putting monitoring tools in place.Driving cost awareness and control, identification, and tracking of cost synergies as a result of the integration of Acquisitions into the team.Blue Group.Collaborate with the broader finance team to guide the evolution of our budgeting/forecasting tools.Support for the implementation of the new Group ERP system, NetSuite.This will involve a review of internal processes and systems, identification of remediation actions, and supporting the Local Finance & Finance SSC team in closing gaps.Reinforce internal controls and with emphasis on revenue recognition policies.Supporting the CoreFinance team for monthly group reporting, including P&L, BS and CF.Provide Monthly Performance Comments and the Monthly Business Review deck and Board Deck.Monitor and analyse operational costs across departments, and variance analysis actual vs budget.Support the CFO with the budgeting and forecasting process for the assigned businesses (KPIs, Revenue, EBITDA and Cashflow).Support the CFO in the analysis of the business performance metrics and KPIs.Provide financial insights to the local management teams, and support strategic decision-making with financial analysis.Support the CFO in the validation of local tools and the implementation of group tools (like NetSuite).Collaborate with the broader finance team to provide ad hoc analysis.Your ProfileThe ideal candidate is someone with a track record of reviewing, recommending, and implementing process and solution improvements.You should have an analytical mindset, thrive under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.A strong business acumen from previous roles and the ability to link operational processes to financial outcomes are essential.Experience & SkillsAccounting qualification with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.Bachelor's degree (ideally finance, business, or accounting).Financial modelling and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.French, Italian or German is a plus.Self-motivated and ambitious.Ability to foster positive relationships in an international setting.Knowledge of subscription-based economics and experience in the IT sector are highly desirable.Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.LocationAt iubenda we believe in full-remote.You are free to work from anywhere in the world.If you prefer a hybrid model, you can work from one of our offices in Milan, Bologna, or Mauritius.BenefitsRemote-friendly workWork 100% remotely, or from our offices, whatever works best for you.We are fully structured for seamless remote onboarding and collaboration.Company retreats & coworking gatherings?
