New Italian Luxury Hospitality brand with 3 openings planned in Italy between **** and ****.Born with the goal of creating a collection of 10 Hotels in the coming years, the brand is based on an ambitious and original vision of contemporary Hospitality.The Hotels are positioned in the luxury 5-star segment with different and unexpected concepts and a particular focus on design, culture and sensory experiences.Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia is reopening as an innovative 5-star luxury Hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service.Our goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered.The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.Job DescriptionAs a key figure in the Food & Beverage area that has 3 Restaurants, our Assistant Restaurant Manager – Maitre Sommelier will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's signature dining outlet.With a passion for service and attention to detail, this role helps ensure that every guest experience is seamless, elegant, and unforgettable.The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a hands-on role in team supervision, service coordination, and guest interaction, contributing to the excellence and reputation of the restaurant and the hotel overall.Key Responsibilities• Support the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service during all shifts.• Lead and supervise the service team, ensuring alignment with brand standards and a guest-centric approach.• Assist in staff scheduling, daily briefings, and team development, fostering a positive and high-performing environment.• Monitor guests' satisfaction especially regarding wines and spirits, respond promptly to feedback or concerns, and ensure follow-up actions.• Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure seamless coordination between service and culinary delivery.• Contribute to the creation of memorable dining experiences through personalized attention and elegant interaction, providing the chef de rang with sommellerie training.• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and internal policies.• Support inventory management, cost control, and ordering processes.• Participate in training programs, performance reviews, and staff onboarding as needed.• Promote a culture of excellence, discretion, and continuous improvement within the team.Qualifications• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management and 3rd level of WSET / AIS / ONAV / FIS certification are preferable,• Previous experience (minimum 2–3 years) in a sommelier and assistant manager role within upscale or fine dining restaurants, preferably in luxury hotels.• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.• Excellent knowledge of service techniques, food and wine pairing and luxury hospitality etiquette.• Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a plus.• Confidence in using restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office tools.• Customer-oriented attitude, with impeccable presentation and a refined sense of hospitality.• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.• Legal right to work in Italy.Benefits– all year contract with competitive salary,– for non residents, accommodation and chef in a new staff house with mountains view,– continous 360' training and career paths,– tailor made uniforms and laundry,– company shuttle from the staff house to the hotel and viceversa.
