Senior Devops Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer at Deltatre.A DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and operating the cloud-native infrastructure that supports software applications and services, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and Flux.This includes configuring and managing Kubernetes clusters, terraform infrastructure as code, and GitOps workflows to ensure seamless and automated deployment of applications, and close collaboration with development teams to maintain continuous integration and delivery.ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage cloud-native system architectures using Kubernetes, guaranteeing high availability, performance, and reliability.Implement and manage Terraform infrastructure as code to provision and manage cloud resources.Develop and maintain GitOps workflows using tools like Flux to automate deployment.Design and operate container-based hosting environments using Kubernetes.Manage and configure cloud-native networking, including load balancers, ingress controllers, and service meshes.Support incident and problem management to identify root causes and improve systems.Interact with development teams to understand requirements and integrate solutions.Analyze and improve systems' performance & scalability, automating management using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes dashboard.Regularly review IT security vulnerabilities related to infrastructure, participate in remediation work, and ensure compliance with security policies.Provide 3rd line support in an on-call roster covering applications, focusing on complex technical issues.RequirementsStrong experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, pod and service management.Experience with infrastructure as code, provisioning and managing cloud resources.Experience with GitOps workflows.Understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, service meshes, and containerization.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Docker builds.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Excellent communication skills to work closely with development teams and stakeholders.Nice to haveExperience with Terraform/OpenTofu.Experience with Flux GitOps tools.Familiarity with NGINX Ingress Controller, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines.Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, managing cloud resources and services.Understanding of IT security principles, network security, IAM, and compliance.Desired traitsDriven to push boundaries and lead change.Communicative to keep teams informed.Reliable to meet deadlines.Passionate about latest technologies and standards.Proactive to suggest improvements and fix potential issues.Solid technically, to advise clients and internal teams.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Consulting, and OtherIndustriesSoftware Development, Technology, Information and Media, and IT System Custom Software DevelopmentEven if you don't tick all the boxes for this role, but you have a keen interest in what we do, send us your details; we may find a suitable match during the interview process.Deltatre consciously nurtures an environment where each and every team member feels safe to bring their whole selves to work, is valued and respected, and is expected to treat everyone with dignity and respect, value different perspectives, use inclusive language, and work in alignment with Deltatre's commitment to diversity and inclusion.Everyone is welcome and celebrated.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Deltatre by 2x.Get notified about new DevOps Engineer jobs in Turin, Piedmont, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
