In this central role, you will enable secure and successful digital transformation across Sustainability, Growth Enablement, and R&IYou will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to assess needs, establish effective security practices, and promote team behaviors that drive delivery excellenceYour responsibilities will include ensuring compliance and process alignment, as well as supporting, coaching, and empowering teams to deliver secure and innovative solutions across these critical domainsWe count on you to:CISO Office RepresentationServe as the CISO Office's representative within the assigned IT domain, ensuring alignment with Syensqo's security strategy and objectivesActive Partnership & CoachingCollaborate with teams to provide hands-on support, constructive challenge, and practical coachingHelp teams overcome obstacles, especially during high-pressure or complex situations, and guide them to successful outcomesDelivery EnablementFacilitate progress by identifying and removing barriers, enabling teams to embed security into their projects from the outsetEnsure cybersecurity is an enabler for innovation and growth, not a constraintFostering Team BehaviorsPromote a culture of shared responsibility for cybersecurityEncourage open communication, continuous learning, and the adoption of best practices that support both operational excellence and robust securityManagement Team Participation & Stakeholder EngagementServe as a key member of the management team, contributing to strategic decisions and helping navigate complex or sensitive cybersecurity topicsBuild strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and effective communicatorSolution-Oriented ApproachWhen challenges arise, actively seek alternatives and facilitate progress, rather than simply enforcing boundariesEncourage creative problem-solving and help teams find secure, practical paths forwardCompliance & Process AlignmentEnsure all activities adhere to relevant internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirementsIntegrate compliance and process alignment into broader delivery and innovation activities, maintaining a holistic approach to securityContinuous Assessment & ImprovementRegularly assess current security practices, identify opportunities for enhancement, and drive the adoption of improved processes and technologiesSupport teams in implementing changes that strengthen both security and operational performanceYou will bring:Education and experienceBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT operations or related rolesStrong knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g. SOX, ISO *****, NIST)Experience with risk management, vulnerability management and compliance assessmentsAbility to lead cross-functional security initiatives and drive resultsRelevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plusSkills and behavioral competenciesAnalytical thinking and problem solvingStrong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively, build trust and influence across teams and management levelsSolution-oriented mindset with a track record of enabling delivery and overcoming obstaclesDeep understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements and risk managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLanguage skillsFluent EnglishFrench is a plusYou will get:Competitive salary and benefits package16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulationsTraining platform for all employeesFree well-being sessions (physical and psychological)Additional information:Hybrid working modelAbout UsSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
