Come join us on our journeyAbout the RoleAs a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills, you will mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesYou will promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

You will complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more. You will maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility. You must be able to move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

Pay and BenefitsThe starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
