Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement ManagerVRV, part of Chart Industries Inc., is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team.What Will You Do?Drive Operational Excellence and Margin ExpansionPlan, organize and implement systems and procedures for aiding in manufacturing while adhering to and promoting safety and quality guidelinesPersonally conduct and/or supervise studies to determine cause, effect and the corrective measures required to remedy deviations impairing desirable standards of qualityMonitor production processes and then work with Production personnel to create standard work procedures, enhance flow, and implement Lean concepts throughout the plant including 5S, Visual Work, Kanban, etc.Enable strategic transformation and innovation and support strategic initiatives and growthLead the Green / Yellow Belt teamsWork closely with team members to identify and reduce waste activities and enhance qualityInterface with various departments in coordinating technical information relating to specific projectsInterface with various departments in defining and providing solutions to detected manufacturing processes causing quality problemsIdentify and recommend opportunities for capital equipment improvementsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementRequirements & Qualifications...MS Degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Industrial or MechanicalAt least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment is mandatoryMust have a working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, ProE, with Inventor or SolidWorks being preferredUnderstanding of factory metrics, Lean (Operational Excellence) and Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis and Value Stream MappingKnowledge and understanding of Data Analysis & Statistical ToolsCommunication and Teamwork skillsVRV - Chart is an Equal Opportunity Employer...VRV - Chart is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.VRV - Chart is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected statusChart Industries, Inc. is a leading independent global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple applications in the Energy and Industrial Gas markets.Our unique product portfolio is used in every phase of the liquid gas supply chain, including upfront engineering, service and repair.#J-*****-Ljbffr
