Join to apply for the Avionics Software Test Engineer* role at EDAG GroupHigh competence and the passion for new challenges make our Electrics/Electronics division the guidepost to the automotive future.Take your next step and support our team.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze functional and security requirements to define test strategies and plansDevelop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test casesPerform integration, validation, regression, and performance testing on embedded or avionics software systemsIdentify, document, and track defects using issue tracking toolsCollaborate with software development, system engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and optimize the verification processPrepare detailed reports on test status, results, and requirements coverageEnsure compliance with aviation standards such as DO-178C, ARP****A, and DO-330 (where applicable)Support internal/external certification and audit activitiesParticipate in defining and improving test processes and internal best practiceQualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplinesExperience in testing in the aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical sectorsKnowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, VectorCAST, LDRA, Jenkins, Jira, TestRail)Familiarity with V-model software development cycles and DO-178C certification processesAbility to interpret schematics, technical documents, and system requirementsBasic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python) and embedded environmentsKnowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN)Additional InformationSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeIndustries: Engineering Services and Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
