3 giorni faIRBM is a scientific contract research organization (CRO) that stands at the forefront of drug discovery, leveraging a single, unified research facility, located in Pomezia (Rome), Italy, to accelerate team-based breakthroughs and improve efficiencies from initial concept to pre-clinical candidate.With a history of contributing to several approved drugs, and its own internal pipeline of oncology and other therapeutic assets, IRBM is powered by deep collaborations and decades of expertise from leading global institutions.Our in-house capabilities assist partners in achieving key milestones and progressing towards clinical readiness, positioning IRBM as a major player in driving innovation in the pharmaceutical and biotech fields.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PhD Scientist with expertise in drug discovery, Phage Display, and mRNA display technologies to join our Display Technologies team.The successful candidate will contribute to the identification and development of novel therapeutic agents and play a key role in our drug discovery efforts and will be responsible for driving the execution and expansion of the state-of-the-art of new Display methodologies.Candidates with prior research experience abroad will be given priority.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute experiments using Phage Display and mRNA display technologies to identify high-affinity peptides and antibodies.Conduct bio-panning and selection rounds to enrich for target-specific clones.Analyze sequencing data to identify unique peptide and antibody sequences.Develop and optimize assays for binding, internalization, and functional activity of identified candidates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into broader drug discovery projects.Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures and results.Present research findings at internal and external meetings and conferences.Stay current with advancements in drug discovery, Phage Display, and mRNA display technologies.Qualifications & RequirementsPhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.Extensive experience with drug discovery, Phage Display, and mRNA display technologies.Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and sequencing.Strong background in protein-protein interactions and assay development.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Ability to coordinate multiple projects.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with high-throughput screening (HTS) methods is a plus.The position is based in Pomezia (RM).IRBM considers all qualified applicants without discrimination, including on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, gender identity or expression, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected classes.We nurture an inclusive culture where everyone can show their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling career.#J-*****-Ljbffr
