To strengthen the engineering team within a high-performance motorcycle environment, we are seeking aTyre Modelling EngineerThe successful candidate will focus on the development and refinement of tyre models to support vehicle dynamics simulations and performance analysis.This is a non-track-based position, working closely with simulation, design, and performance departments to enhance tyre-related insights and contribute to vehicle development.Main Responsibilities- Develop, validate, and maintain high-fidelity tyre models for use in simulation environments (e.g., multibody, real-time, or offline simulations).- Analyze tyre data from laboratory tests and telemetry to extract key parameters and improve model accuracy.- Collaborate with the Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation teams to integrate tyre models into full vehicle simulations.- Support design and performance teams with tyre-related insights to guide development decisions.- Generate detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and model updates.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tyre modelling methodologies and tools.Requirements- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport sector.- In-depth knowledge of tyre dynamics and vehicle behavior.- Experience with data analysis and simulation software.The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and a good command of written and spoken English for effective communication in international settings.Location: Milan.
