Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for Software Tester (CI/CD skilled)to support the global R&D division.Field: visualization & display solutions (healthcare/control rooms)The position focuses on designing, implementing & executing automated tests to ensure the reliability & functionality of embedded software systems.The ideal candidate will work within a highly innovative environment, contributing to advanced video technologies deployed worldwideKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop & execute automated test cases in parallel with embedded software developmentCollaborate with developers to improve testability & validate features against requirementsSupport continuous integration by automating test processes & minimizing manual testingCreate comprehensive test plans, write test cases & prepare detailed test reportsPerform reliability & functional validation through continuous testing cyclesConfigure & maintain test setups, including hardware boards & instrumentationConduct simulations to verify interoperability with external devices & systems under critical conditionsRequirementsBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in embedded environmentsStrong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies & Agile testing practicesProficiency in Python for test automation & data analysisExperience with version control systems (SVN, Git)Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Robot Framework, Pytest)Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI platformsKnowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA for bug tracking, Confluence for documentation)Ability to work with embedded Linux systems & network configurationsNice-to-haveExperience with proprietary communication protocols & hardware integrationExposure to network switches (Extreme, Netgear) for test environments Background in reliability testing & large-scale automated simulationsLocation: Saronno (VA) – 3/5 days Freelancers are highly welcomed tooCandidates of any gender identity, after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV in PDF format, quoting the reference number (Ref. ******).Hays Solutions S.R.L.
