Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team.This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports AWS.Specifically, this team works to ensure the safe and secure operation of the data center's Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure to provide ******% availability for our customers.In this specific case, High Voltage Sub-Station (HVSS) experience is at a premium given the infrastructure layout of the PHX region.Key Job ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center, to include HVSSOperate independently with limited direct managementAct as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the regionPerform root cause analysis of equipment failuresCreate and deploy new standard practices for EOTs, CEs, and vendor support teamsProvide training and guidance to EOTs, CEs, and FMsEnsure all safety procedures are adhered to by vendor and Amazon staffCommunicate complex technical information to a non-technical audienceWork cross-functionally across teams to effect cluster-wide performance improvement with our internal and external partners by designing and implementing processes, metrics, and programs that enhance the end to end employee experienceCollaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals, and obtain commitment to concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass productionExperience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating SystemsPreferred QualificationsExperience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructureExperience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructureAmazon is an equal geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
