About UsA career at Hitachi Rail will help create a legacy.With operations in every corner of the world, our work goes to the cutting-edge of digital transformation and technology.From the multi-cultural strength of our global organisation to the sustainable and innovative ways we work to bring people together, there's something for everyone to get stuck into.And that's where you come in.Sesto Fiorentino Via Righi, Italy (Hybrid)Job ObjectiveWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and contribute to the overall success of our organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment for employees.Main TasksCollaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and update the job descriptions; source, screen, and interview candidates; schedule and run interviews.Keep up-to-date the applicant tracking system.Assist in the negotiation of employment offers and the preparation of employment contracts.Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the collection of documents, completion of paperwork and orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies and procedures.Support the analysis of skills gaps and the implementation of the best strategy to fill them.Schedule training sessions and workshops for employees, as well as maintain training records.Gather and prepare HR related documentation needed to ensure compliance with labor laws, applicable regulations (es. data protection), company policies, as well as requirements for funded training programs.Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).Prepare HR-related presentations and reports.Support within day-to-day requirements and HR projects.Main RequirementsPrevious experience in Human Resources, as HR Generalist.Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field.Good knowledge of Italian and English language.Availability to travel on a monthly basis (twice a month).Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Problem solving attitude and proactivity.Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity.Good knowledge of CCNL Metalmeccanico is a plus.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.If your application is of interest, we will be in contact.Please do not hesitate to discover more about us and our latest jobs atAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.We welcome and value differences in background, age, gender, sexuality, family status, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, and world view.It is our commitment to create an inclusive environment - we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We would be delighted if you would be one of our followers at#J-*****-Ljbffr
